It was an unseasonably warm day in the Santa Ynez Valley and somehow I found myself at Bridlewood Estate Winery so I settled up at the bar for a little wine tasting to try and escape, or forget, the hot afternoon.

You may have noticed that we were delinquent with our posts for the past few weeks. I am pleased to announce that we took Win Country on the road….. and it is so nice to be back home in Santa Ynez Valley! I thought I’d share with you a few of the events that we’ve been at recently: perhaps we saw you at one or two of them?

I am happy to report that there are still a few tickets available for the first Wine Around event! Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Association has been working diligently with us here at Chumash, and with three local wineries to put together the finishing touches on what promises to be a wonderful two-day wine celebration.
